The Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame was the recipient of funds raised during Hambingo Mondays at Hamburger Mary’s, August 27, 2012. The room was filled with eager players hoping to finally shout out bingo as Velicity Metropolis called out the numbers. Players purchased game cards at $5 each or 5 for $20. Most took a chance and purchased the $20 value. When the last ball was drawn, the last winner shouted out bingo and the last prize delivered the Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame recognized over $765 from the event. Thanks to all who shared the evening with us. The youth who decided to join us for the evening proved to be quite delightful.
