| On Monday, June 21, 2010 Annual Pride and Joy Reception | |
| On Monday, June 21, the Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame began its 2010 fund-raising effort with its annual Pride and Joy Reception from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Circuit Night Club, 3641 N. Halsted Street. Tickets were $10 and available from members of the Advisory Council on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Issues, from Hall of Fame inductees, and at the door at Circuit. | | | The evening featured a buffet of heavy hors d'oeuvres. The 2009 Hall of Fame exhibit was on display, and nomination forms for 2010 inductions were available. Entertainment was be provided by members of the Circuit Night Club cast. | 2009 Induction Ceremony Held Thursday November 12,2009 | |
| The Nineteenth annual Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony was held Thursday, November 12 at 5pm at the Chicago Cultural Center in the Sydney R. Yates Gallery. The Chicago Cultural Center is located at 77 E. Randolph St. The event was privately funded through donations from individuals, businesses, organizations, and fundraising events. Staff support was provided by the Hall of Fame Committee, members of ACLGBTI, the Chicago Commission on Human Relations and volunteers. Chicago is the only municipality to honor its LGBT communities in this manner. | | | The Hall of Fame pays tribute to its inductees and documents the LGBT communities’ heritage and diversity through its annual publication and its Web site (www.glhalloffame.org).  | The Illinois Department of Human Rights hosted a display based on the 2009 inductees into Chicago’s Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, November 23, through Wednesday, November 25, 2009, in the lobby of the James R. Thompson Center, 100 W. Randolph St., Chicago. Photos and biographies of inductees were on display, highlighting their achievements and contributions to the City of Chicago. | Celebrity Auction Held Tuesday September 22,2009 | |
| The Seventeenth Annual Hall of Fame Celebrity Auction benefits the 2009 Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame. The auction was held on Tuesday September 22, at Sidetrack, 3349 N. Halsted St. The cocktail reception and registration began at 7pm and bidding started at 8pm. The registration fee of $10 included one cocktail, hors d’oeuvres from J&L Catering, raffle tickets, an auction paddle to bid with, and a $10 credit on auction purchases. This event was sponsored by Sidetrack, J&L Catering, BOI Magazine, Circuit Night Club, Treasure Island, Commonwealth Edison, Miller Lite, and was hosted by Sidetrack. | | | Auctioneer in chief was Chicago’s own Circuit Mom.
